Our Science Resource Grant Program provides grants of up to $500 to public school teacher, K-12, in Alameda or Contra Costa Counties. These grants are intended to enhance classroom science programs relating to conservation. Requests may be for educational field trips, classroom science materials, classroom science presentations, or professional development.
Examples include: projects and fieldtrips related to the study of wetland and creek restoration, renewable energy, recycling, environmental problems, watershed pollution, and the protection of ecological systems, habitats and species.
